Observation

How should we come to God? How are we to encourage each other?

Application

Do I hold confidently to my faith? Am I faithful in meeting together with my church family?

Prayer

Pray today’s Scripture back to God:
Dear Father, help me to draw near to You with a true heart in full assurance of faith, my heart sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and my body washed in the pure water of faith in Christ. Let me hold on to the confession of my hope without wavering, for You who promised are faithful. May I be concerned about my brothers and sisters in Christ in order to promote love and good works, not staying away from our meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as I see the day drawing near. Keep me from deliberate sin and from drawing back in the face of suffering. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Pray to BLESS!

  • L – Labor (their job or school)
  • E – Emotions (emotional health as well as guarding against letting emotions rule)
  • S – Social (relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church, etc)
  • S – Spiritual (remaining true to God and growing in Him)
