Prayer

Pray today’s Scripture back to God:
Dear Father, It is good to praise You, LORD, to sing praise to Your name, Most High, to declare Your faithful love in the morning and Your faithfulness at night! For You have made me rejoice, LORD, by what You have done; I will shout for joy because of the works of Your hands. How magnificent are Your works, LORD, how profound Your thoughts! For You, Lord, are exalted forever. May I follow after You all the days of my life, that I may still bear fruit in my old age, declaring that You are just, You are my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray to BLESS!

One good way to pray for people is to use the acronym BLESS to pray for God’s blessing on every area of their lives:

  • B – BODY (physical health)
  • L – Labor (their job or school)
  • E – Emotions (emotional health as well as guarding against letting emotions rule)
  • S – Social (relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church, etc)
  • S – Spiritual (remaining true to God and growing in Him)

Spend some time praying for the following people and ministries:

  • Pat & Hannah Kelley
  • Darrell & Fralina Leatham
  • Fred & Shirley Leonard
  • Mark & Michelle Morgan (Cody, Kyle)

Ministry:

  • Genesis World Mission

CLF:

  • That we will devote ourselves to prayer, individually, in small groups, and as a church.

Community: Pray for Kuna…

  • That city leaders would submit to God
  • That people can find and keep gainful employment
  • For sound financial management by city officials
  • Salvation for unbelievers
  • For the mayor, city council members, and public works officials

MEMORY VERSE OF THE WEEK:
But godliness with contentment is a great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these. – 1 Timothy 6:6-8 (HCSB)
