Observation

Why was the woman suffering a twelve-year hemorrhage healed? What did Jesus tell Jairus upon receiving word that his daughter had died?

Application

Do I have faith in Jesus to take care of everything in my life for my good and according to His will? Do I remember that I should not be afraid but only believe Him, even in the worst of times?

Prayer

Pray today’s Scripture back to God:
Dear Father God, Thank You that You are in charge of all things. Thank You that You promise to work out all things to the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose, even if we can’t see how or why, and even if it seems impossible. Give me a faith in You that does not waver. Help me not to fear but only believe. I ask this in Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Pray to BLESS!
One good way to pray for people is to use the acronym BLESS to pray for God’s blessing on every area of their lives:

  • B – BODY (physical health)
  • L – Labor (their job or school)
  • E – Emotions (emotional health as well as guarding against letting emotions rule)
  • S – Social (relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church, etc)
  • S – Spiritual (remaining true to God and growing in Him)

Spend some time praying for the following people and ministries:

  • Theresa Daniels
  • Travis & Hali Davidson (Andrew, Maddy)
  • Brandon & Lindsey Dockins
  • Patti Doty
  • Ken & Twilla Eden (Mattea, Joseph, Joshua, Sophia, Jonathan)

Missionaries:

  • Tim & Miranda Penn (Samid, Sarah), missionaries to Albania

CLF:

  • That Christian Life Fellowship would be a church that is devoted to the Word of God, and that we would be doers of it and not just hearers; that we would study the Word and so always be prepared to give everyone an answer–in season and out of season–and be approved workers who do not need to be ashamed, able to accurately understand and explain it.

Community: Pray for the poor & imprisoned

  • Salvation
  • That they will trust in God’s provision
  • For sound financial management by city officials
  • That they will have hope
  • For godly mentors in the prison/jail system

MEMORY VERSE OF THE WEEK:
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. – Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV)
