Revelation 19

Why does the multitude of heaven praise God in verses 1-5? In verses 6-8?

Am I walking in faith that God will one day avenge His servants who have been brutalized, berated, mutilated, and murdered? Am I excited about being part of the bride of Christ and attending His wedding celebration?

Pray today’s Scripture back to God:
Dear God, Thank You for Jesus, the One who is Faithful and True, who goes to war with justice and is always victorious, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to You, God, because Your judgments are true and just. I, one of Your people who fears You, praise You. Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the All-Powerful, reigns! I rejoice and exult and give You glory, because the wedding celebration of the Lamb is coming, and Your bride will make herself ready, dressed in the fine linen of the righteous deeds of the saints. Thank you that I am blessed, because I am invited to the banquet at the wedding celebration of the Lamb, according to Your true words. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Pray to BLESS!
One good way to pray for people is to use the acronym BLESS to pray for God’s blessing on every area of their lives:

  • B – BODY (physical health)
  • L – Labor (their job or school)
  • E – Emotions (emotional health as well as guarding against letting emotions rule)
  • S – Social (relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church, etc)
  • S – Spiritual (remaining true to God and growing in Him)

Spend some time praying for the following people and ministries.

  • Doug & Pam Patchin
  • Jared & Amanda Patchin (Alex, Luke)
  • Keith Rast
  • David Reynolds
  • Andrea Rodriguez (Willie, Yulieta)

  • Boise Rescue Mission

  • That we will be people who are devoted to giving to the Lord’s work and to anyone who has a need.

Community: Pray for Public Service Professionals (Firefighters, Law enforcement, and medical personnel)…

  • Strength to serve well
  • Safety/health
  • Salvation for lost & ministry opportunities for saved
  • Strong family/marriage relationships
  • Strong, God-honoring friendships

But set Christ apart as Lord in your hearts and always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks about the hope you possess. – 1 Peter 3:15 (NET)
