Observation
What does Hosea 6:1-3 teach us about the attitude we should have when the Lord disciplines us?
Application
Do I turn toward God or away from God when He disciplines me?
Prayer
Pray today’s Scripture back to God:
Father God, Help me to follow You faithfully and obediently. Keep me from rebelling against You, and when You have to correct me, may I respond by returning to You, so that Your discipline does not have to be even harsher. I pray this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Pray to BLESS!
One good way to pray for people is to use the acronym BLESS to pray for God’s blessing on every area of their lives:
- B – BODY (physical health)
- L – Labor (their job or school)
- E – Emotions (emotional health as well as guarding against letting emotions rule)
- S – Social (relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church, etc)
- S – Spiritual (remaining true to God and growing in Him)
Spend some time praying for the following people and ministries:
- Pat & Hannah Kelley
- Fred & Shirley Leonard
- Mark & Michelle Morgan (Cody, Kyle)
- Michael Morgan
Ministries:
- Provenance

MEMORY VERSE OF THE WEEK:
He has given us the privilege, since we have been rescued from our enemies’ clutches, to serve Him without fear in holiness and righteousness in His presence all our days. – Luke 1:73b-75 (ISV)
