Observation
What is the benefit of submitting my plan’s to God’s will (verses 3, 9)? What is the danger of being proud (verse 18)?
Application
Do I commit and submit my plans to God, understanding that ultimately He is in control and I am not? Am I in danger of falling or even destruction because of selfish pride?
Prayer
Pray today’s Scripture back to God:
Dear Father God, I commit my plans to You, asking You to bless those that bring you glory and frustrate those that do not. Reveal to me Your plans for my life when and as you see fit, and grant that I would have a joyful and obedient response. May i never fall into destruction because of selfish pride, but always humble myself before You. I pray this in Jesus’ Name, Amen!
Pray to BLESS!
One good way to pray for people is to use the acronym BLESS to pray for God’s blessing on every area of their lives:
- B – BODY (physical health)
- L – Labor (their job or school)
- E – Emotions (emotional health as well as guarding against letting emotions rule)
- S – Social (relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church, etc)
- S – Spiritual (remaining true to God and growing in Him)
Spend some time praying for the following people and ministries:
- Mike Daniels
- Theresa Daniels
- Travis & Hali Davidson (Andrew)
- Brian & Eileen Davis
Missionaries:
- Tim & Miranda Penn (Samid, Sarah), missionaries to Albania
CLF:
- That Christian Life Fellowship would be a church that is devoted to the Word of God, and that we would be doers of it and not just hearers; that we would study the Word and so always be prepared to give everyone an answer–in season and out of season–and be approved workers who do not need to be ashamed, able to accurately understand and explain it.
Community: Pray for Meridian

MEMORY VERSE OF THE WEEK:
Don’t work only while being watched, in order to please men, but as slaves of Christ, do God’s will from your heart. – Ephesians 6:6 (HCSB)
