Galatians 6

How should the church handle a believer caught in sin? What are we to do in order to be able to reap a supernatural harvest (9-10)?

Do I condemn those who fall or try to restore them? Am I “weary of doing good” or willing to do the long, hard task of doing good to all, especially my fellow believers, so that we can reap a supernatural harvest?

Pray today’s Scripture back to God:
Dear Father God, Give me a heart like Yours, that forgives and restores. If I start to become hardhearted and condemning, remind me of how much You have forgiven in me, and what a great price You paid to restore me, and help me to freely give grace as I have freely received it. Strengthen me such that I will not get tired of or give up on doing good to all, especially those who belong to the household of the faith, so that we can reap at the proper time. I pray this in Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Pray to BLESS!

One good way to pray for people is to use the acronym BLESS to pray for God’s blessing on every area of their lives:

  • B – BODY (physical health)
  • L – Labor (their job or school)
  • E – Emotions (emotional health as well as guarding against letting emotions rule)
  • S – Social (relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church, etc)
  • S – Spiritual (remaining true to God and growing in Him)

Spend some time praying for the following people and ministries:

  • Ken & Twilla Eden (Joshua, Jonathan, Sophia)
  • Gil & Lois Estes
  • Gary Friend
  • Scott & Kristi Guinn (Josiah)

  • J & G Simon, missionaries to Austria

  • Ask that we would be a church that is devoted to true fellowship: Pray that we would be encouraged from being united with Christ, comforted by His love, bonded with His Spirit, tender and compassionate with one another. Pray that we would be like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Ask that we would do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider one another better than ourselves, looking not only to our own interests, but also to the interests of each other. Pray that we would all have the same attitude as that of Christ Jesus.

Community: Pray for Kuna…

  • That city leaders would submit to God
  • That people can find and keep gainful employment
  • For sound financial management by city officials
  • Salvation for unbelievers
  • For the mayor, city council members, and public works officials

Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. – Hebrews 10:23 (HCSB)
