Observation

What was always on Aaron’s forehead? Why was it required?

Application

Because of Christ’s sacrifice, He bore my guilt and I am “Holy to the Lord” and accepted by Him. Do I live that out–can other people see it?

Prayer

Dear Lord, Thank You for Christ Jesus, my perfect priest and my perfect sacrifice. Because of Him and ONLY because of Him, I have been accepted by You and made holy unto You. Please remind me of that constantly and empower me to live it out in my daily life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Pray to BLESS!

One good way to pray for people is to use the acronym BLESS to pray for God’s blessing on every area of their lives:

• B – BODY (physical health)
• L – Labor (their job or school)
• E – Emotions (emotional health as well as guarding against letting emotions rule)
• S – Social (relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church, etc)
• S – Spiritual (remaining true to God and growing in Him)

Spend some time praying for the following people and ministries.

• That we will be people who are devoted to giving to the Lord’s work and to anyone who has a need.

Community: Pray for the elderly…

• That they will be treated respectfully
• That they will not dwell on mistakes and regret
• That God will provide for their health and finances
• That God will protect them from those who would try to harm them
• Salvation for unbelievers
• Any broken family relationships restored before they pass on
