Psalm 101

What character attribute did David desire (2)? How did he go about cultivating it (3-4)?

Do I desire to live a life of integrity? Am I willing to do the things required for that to happen?

Pray today’s Scripture back to God:
Dear Father, I will sing of faithful love and justice; I will sing praise to You, LORD. I will pay attention to the way of integrity. I will live with integrity of heart in my life. I will not set anything godless before my eyes. I hate the doing of transgression; by Your grace it will not cling to me, and a devious heart will be far from me; I will not be involved with evil. I will destroy any desire to secretly slander my neighbor; I cannot tolerate having haughty eyes or an arrogant heart. May my eyes favor those faithful to You. I will befriend the one who follows the way of integrity. I will not act deceitfully or tell lies, or associate with those who do so. Every morning destroy all the wicked in my heart, eliminating all evildoing from Your child. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Pray to BLESS!
One good way to pray for people is to use the acronym BLESS to pray for God’s blessing on every area of their lives:

  • B – BODY (physical health)
  • L – Labor (their job or school)
  • E – Emotions (emotional health as well as guarding against letting emotions rule)
  • S – Social (relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church, etc)
  • S – Spiritual (remaining true to God and growing in Him)

Spend some time praying for the following people and ministries:

  • Mike Daniels
  • Theresa Daniels
  • Brandon & Lindsey Dockins
  • Patti Doty

  • Tim & Miranda Penn (Samid, Sarah), missionaries to Albania

Operation Christmas Child:

  • Pray for God to direct each shoe box gift into the hands of just the right child so that each one will experience His unconditional love and provision.

  • That Christian Life Fellowship would be a church that is devoted to the Word of God, and that we would be doers of it and not just hearers; that we would study the Word and so always be prepared to give everyone an answer–in season and out of season–and be approved workers who do not need to be ashamed, able to accurately understand and explain it.

Community: Pray for Teachers & Administrators & School Boards

  • Godly curriculum
  • God’s wisdom in teaching and leading
  • Salvation for unbelievers
  • Ability to inspire a love of truth and learning

The night is nearly over, and the daylight is near, so let us discard the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. – Romans 13:12 (HCSB)
