What did Jesus teach regarding taxes? When asked about the greatest commandment, what was His response? What did He teach about giving to the Lord’s work?

Do I give to the government what I should, and to God what I should? Do I love God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength? Do I love my neighbor as myself?

Pray today’s Scripture back to God:
Dear Father, Thank You for all that You give me. I ask that You would grow in me a heart that cheerfully gives the taxes I owe to the government, and cheerfully gives regularly whatever You lay on my heart to You and Your people. I ask that You would make me a person that loves You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and that loves my neighbor as myself. I thank You that You are the God of resurrection power, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob; You are not the God of the dead but of the living. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
