Spend some time contemplating the importance of the resurrection of Jesus.

Do I live as if I truly believe Jesus rose in resurrection power, and that He will raise me by that same power?

Pray today’s Scripture back to God:
Dear Father God, I praise You for raising Jesus from the dead! I thank You that His resurrection is not a myth or simply a spiritual concept, but that He literally and physically came back to life from death! And I thank You and praise You that because I have accepted His sacrifice as payment for my sin, that I, too, will be raised to new life in Christ! Help me to keep that in the forefront of my mind, and help me to view every situation in my life through that perspective. I ask this in Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Pray to BLESS!
One good way to pray for people is to use the acronym BLESS to pray for God’s blessing on every area of their lives:

  • B – BODY (physical health)
  • L – Labor (their job or school)
  • E – Emotions (emotional health as well as guarding against letting emotions rule)
  • S – Social (relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church, etc)
  • S – Spiritual (remaining true to God and growing in Him)

Spend some time praying for the following people and ministries:

  • Theresa Daniels
  • Travis & Hali Davidson (Andrew, Maddy)
  • Brandon & Lindsey Dockins
  • Patti Doty
  • Ken & Twilla Eden (Mattea, Joseph, Joshua, Sophia, Jonathan)

  • Tim & Miranda Penn (Samid, Sarah), missionaries to Albania

  • That Christian Life Fellowship would be a church that is devoted to the Word of God, and that we would be doers of it and not just hearers; that we would study the Word and so always be prepared to give everyone an answer–in season and out of season–and be approved workers who do not need to be ashamed, able to accurately understand and explain it.

Community: Pray for outreaches & service projects

  • Creative strategies
  • Volunteers
  • Anointing of the Holy Spirit
  • Believers working together in unity
  • Provision of necessary resources
  • Salvation for people reached

Now to the one who works, pay is not considered as a gift, but as something owed. But to the one who does not work, but believes on Him who declares the ungodly to be righteous, his faith is credited for righteousness. – Romans 4:4-5 (HCSB)
