Why didn’t Jesus rebuke His disciples? Why did he weep?

Do I actively participate in praising Jesus, or do I stand idly by and wait for “the stones” to do it? Do I pray for Israelis to recognize Jesus as their Messiah?

Pray today’s Scripture back to God:
Dear Father God, I cry out in agreement with the disciples: Blessed is King Jesus who comes in the name of the LORD! It is only because of Him that man can have peace with You. Peace in heaven and glory in the highest heaven! I ask for peace in Jerusalem and all of Israel, and that Israelis worldwide would have their spiritual eyes opened and recognize that the Jesus who visited Israel over 2000 years ago is Messiah God, and I pray that they would turn to Him! I ask this in His name, Amen

Pray to BLESS!
One good way to pray for people is to use the acronym BLESS to pray for God’s blessing on every area of their lives:

  • B – BODY (physical health)
  • L – Labor (their job or school)
  • E – Emotions (emotional health as well as guarding against letting emotions rule)
  • S – Social (relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church, etc)
  • S – Spiritual (remaining true to God and growing in Him)

Spend some time praying for the following people and ministries:

  • Theresa Daniels
  • Travis & Hali Davidson (Andrew, Maddy)
  • Brandon & Lindsey Dockins (Gianna)
  • Patti Doty
  • Ken & Twilla Eden (Mattea, Joseph, Joshua, Sophia, Jonathan)

  • Tim & Miranda Penn (Samid, Sarah), missionaries to Albania

  • That Christian Life Fellowship would be a church that is devoted to the Word of God, and that we would be doers of it and not just hearers; that we would study the Word and so always be prepared to give everyone an answer–in season and out of season–and be approved workers who do not need to be ashamed, able to accurately understand and explain it.

God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. – Colossians 1:27 (HCSB)
