Psalm 65

What does David say rightfully belongs to God? Why?

Do I offer God the praise that is rightfully His?

Pray today’s Scripture back to God:
Dear Father, I offer You praise for You are the One who hears and answers prayer. You and You alone provided atonement for and forgiveness of my sins. In Christ You have chosen me and brought me near You to live in Your courts. I will be forever satisfied with the goodness of Your house and the holiness of Your temple. You answer Your people in righteousness with awe-inspiring works, God of our salvation! You alone are the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the distant seas. You are the Creator, Sustainer, and Controller of all things. You provide rain and sun and make the crops grow abundantly. I shout to You, my triumph, and sing. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Pray to BLESS!
One good way to pray for people is to use the acronym BLESS to pray for God’s blessing on every area of their lives:

  • B – BODY (physical health)
  • L – Labor (their job or school)
  • E – Emotions (emotional health as well as guarding against letting emotions rule)
  • S – Social (relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church, etc)
  • S – Spiritual (remaining true to God and growing in Him)

Spend some time praying for the following people and ministries:

  • Mike Daniels
  • Theresa Daniels
  • Travis & Hali Davidson (Andrew, Maddy)
  • Brandon & Lindsey Dockins (Gianna)
  • Patti Doty

  • Tim & Miranda Penn (Samid, Sarah), missionaries to Albania

  • That Christian Life Fellowship would be a church that is devoted to the Word of God, and that we would be doers of it and not just hearers; that we would study the Word and so always be prepared to give everyone an answer–in season and out of season–and be approved workers who do not need to be ashamed, able to accurately understand and explain it.

Community: Pray for Boise & Garden City…

  • That city leaders would submit to God
  • That people can find and keep gainful employment
  • For sound financial management by city officials
  • Salvation for unbelievers
  • For the mayor, city council members, and public works officials
  • Gowan Field Military Base

For if the eagerness is there, it is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what he does not have. – 2 Corinthians 8:12 (HCSB)
