What is the significance of the white robes? What is the reward for the people who wear them?

Spend some time praising God for his protection and preservation of His people.

Pray today’s Scripture back to God:
Dear God, Thank You that You are the holy and righteous judge, and that in Your time You will exercise judgment on the world. Thank You, Lord, for knowing before the foundation of the world what Your plan was, and for carrying it out to perfection at just the right time. Thank You that whoever will come to Jesus will be saved, washed white as snow, and will spend eternity in Your presence, praising and serving You, and that I am one of those people because of Jesus. Thank You for being my Shelter, my Provider, my Refreshment, my Shepherd, my Comfort. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Pray to BLESS!
One good way to pray for people is to use the acronym BLESS to pray for God’s blessing on every area of their lives:

  • B – BODY (physical health)
  • L – Labor (their job or school)
  • E – Emotions (emotional health as well as guarding against letting emotions rule)
  • S – Social (relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church, etc)
  • S – Spiritual (remaining true to God and growing in Him)

Spend some time praying for the following people and ministries:

  • Fred & Shirley Leonard
  • Dan & Jenn Loeschke
  • Corey & Sheryl Morasch
  • Cody Morgan
  • Kyle Morgan
  • Mark & Michelle Morgan

  • Christian Pro-Life Ministries in Idaho (Idaho Chooses Life, Stanton Health Care, etc)

  • That we will devote ourselves to prayer, individually, in small groups, and as a church.

Community: Pray for Boise & Garden City…

  • That city leaders would submit to God
  • That people can find and keep gainful employment
  • For sound financial management by city officials
  • Salvation for unbelievers
  • For the mayor, city council members, and public works officials
  • Gowan Field Military Base

Question #19: Is there any way to escape punishment and be brought back into God’s favor?

Children’s Answer: Yes, God reconciles us to Himself by a Redeemer.

Adult’s Answer: Yes, to satisfy His justice, God Himself, out of mere mercy, reconciles us to Himself and delivers us from sin and from the punishment for sin, by a Redeemer.

Memory Verse

Isaiah 53:10–11 (HCSB)

Yet the LORD was pleased to crush Him severely. When You make Him a restitution offering, He will see His seed, He will prolong His days, and by His hand, the LORD’s pleasure will be accomplished. He will see it out of His anguish, and He will be satisfied with His knowledge. My righteous Servant will justify many, and He will carry their iniquities.
