Leviticus 6

Click here to read today’s passage on Bible Gateway

How does today’s passage show us:
God’s concern for the way we treat others?
His forgiveness for the repentant?
His provision for those called to full-time ministry?

Do I make every effort to make peace with those I have wronged? Do I trust that, having received Christ, I am clean and forgiven in God’s sight? Do I help support those God has placed in full-time ministry in my life?

Pray today’s Scripture back to God:
Dear Father in Heaven, I thank You and praise You for the perfect, complete, and acceptable sacrifice of Jesus that forgives my sin and mends relationships between Your people and with You! When I stumble and cause offense, help me to recognize my wrong, humble myself, and make restitution as needed. Help me to walk in the knowledge that I am clean before You because of Christ alone, and not anything I do or can do. And remind me to support in whatever ways I can those You have placed in my life who have given their lives to full-time ministry. In the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen!

Pray to BLESS!
One good way to pray for people is to use the acronym BLESS to pray for God’s blessing on every area of their lives:

  • B – BODY (physical health)
  • L – Labor (their job or school)
  • E – Emotions (emotional health as well as guarding against letting emotions rule)
  • S – Social (relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church, etc)
  • S – Spiritual (remaining true to God and growing in Him)

Spend some time praying for the following people and ministries:

  • Mike Daniels
  • Theresa Daniels
  • Travis Davidson (Andrew, Maddy)
  • Patti Doty
  • Ken & Twilla Eden (Mattea, Joseph, Joshua, Sophia, Jonathan)
  • Gary Friend

  • Tim & Miranda Penn (Samid, Sarah), missionaries to Albania

  • That Christian Life Fellowship would be a church that is devoted to the Word of God, and that we would be doers of it and not just hearers; that we would study the Word and so always be prepared to give everyone an answer–in season and out of season–and be approved workers who do not need to be ashamed, able to accurately understand and explain it.

Community: Pray for our national leaders

  • God’s anointing on them and a desire in them to follow Him
  • For Jesus to once again be Lord and King over our nation
  • For the president and cabinet to seek after God
  • For judges to rule justly and righteously
  • For senators & representatives to pass godly legislation and block sinful bills
  • That our government would protect its citizens and punish evildoers

Operation Christmas Child:

    • Pray that the boxes will open doors for children to hear the Good News in parts of the world that are typically closed to proclaiming the Gospel.
